Announcing 2019-20 Toronto Youth Theatre Programs

Award winning Wavestage Theatre Company is proud to announce their Youth Performance Academy 25th Season programs in Toronto! Wavestage continues to provide invaluable opportunities for young people to develop existing strengths and learn new skills. For 25 years, Wavestage has enabled youth from across the GTA to develop both their creative and personal potential.

The 2019-20 Season programs include:

MUSIC THEATRE INTENSIVE - INTO THE WOODS JR.

Youth performers in INTO THE WOODS Jr. will have the exciting opportunity to work one on one with industry professionals as they prepare to perform a large scale Youth musical production. Explore a wide range of skills in acting, singing and dancing. Students age 9-19 will be taught movement, choreography, vocal technique, dramatic coaching and stagecraft. Rehearsals begin September 2019 in Toronto (Monday evenings).

BROADWAY BOUND: MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP FOR YOUTH

This skill building workshop is designed to help young artists develop new skills. No matter their experience level, our musical theatre students are sure to learn new things and discover a deeper understand of theatre performance. Whether your performer is a future star or just wants to build confidence, the Broadway Bound experience will provide them with opportunities to learn and grow in safe and fun environment.

WAVESTAGE YOUTH CHOIR - 25TH SEASON

If you love to sing, Wavestage Youth Choir is the place to be. Join the choir for a positive and supportive environment in which youth singers can can develop their musical abilities by learning and performing music of all styles. We believe the joy of singing builds confidence in youth. In program they will learn techniques of healthy singing and basic rudiments of music.
